Entire facade renovation with a historical preservation approach, incorporating their branding into the architectural ornamentation.

The Agave Project reimagined the entire entrance sequence of a retail storefront, transforming a once shadowed, inward-facing façade into an open, welcoming, and highly visible street presence. Existing display windows were removed to improve sightlines into the sales floor, while the storefront was extended closer to the sidewalk to create a generous, architecturally integrated, ADA-compliant entry—simultaneously increasing usable interior square footage.
Inside, the building’s historic barrel ceiling was preserved through careful repair and a seamless extension, reinforcing the original architectural character. New wood flooring was thoughtfully integrated with the existing historic flooring to maintain continuity throughout the space. Externally, the façade was re-bricked with a refined arched composition that echoes the interior geometry, strengthening the connection between inside and out. Layered exterior lighting completes the transformation, ensuring the building reads with clarity, warmth, and presence from day into night.
